Is it Wise to Invest in IndiaBulls Housing NCDs Public Issue

Indiabulls Housing Finance issuing Non-Convertible Debentures worth Rs.1000 crore on April 29, 2020. The base issue size is of Rs 100 Crore with a green shoe option of Rs 900 Crore said by the management. And the NCDs bond locking period will be for 3 years from the date of subscriptions.

With such initiative the company can find some liquidity in the system. And for investors its a good investment picks for high returns. The NCDs Bonds are rated by rating agency CRISIL “AA” and “BWR AA” ratings by Brickwork rating agency.

These news can boost up the Ibulhsgfin Share price in near terms. However, for retail investors is it wise to invest in IndiaBulls Housing Finance NCDs. Keeping DHFL and Yes Bank NCDs default on eye recently. I think before investment one should go through the Bonds Norms carefully.

To be fact I am not against the NCDs just I want you to aware of fraudulent-default activity done by NBFC and Banks before. Investing money in stock market and Mutual Funds is subject to market risk. But investing in NCDs is subject to Corporate risk.
